The HGV Road User Levy is a time-based road charge in the United Kingdom for trucks of 12 t and over. Foreign vehicles pay it per day, week, month or year in pounds sterling.
Amount: up to £10 per day or £1,000 per year, depending on weight and axles.
Note: the levy is not a per-kilometre toll – it is paid for the period the vehicle is driven in the UK.
