Logist Calculator (“Logist Calculator”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is operated by FOP Yurii Peresta, a Ukrainian sole proprietor / individual entrepreneur.

We process information that is necessary to provide and operate Logist Calculator.

2.1 Account information

When you create or use an account, we may process:

• email address;
• preferred language;
• authentication and account identifiers;
• subscription, trial and account status;
• name provided by an authentication provider, such as Google sign-in.

If you use Google sign-in, Google may provide us with your email address and name as part of the authentication process. Logist Calculator does not currently provide a separate profile name field.

2.2 Calculator and trip data

When you use the calculator, we process the information you enter or generate through the service, including where applicable:

• departure and destination locations;
• route and border-crossing information;
• route text and addresses used for calculations;
• cargo and shipment information;
• vehicle information;
• fuel and toll information;
• driver-pay information;
• depreciation and other cost parameters;
• freight rates;
• calculated costs, revenue, profit and margin;
• saved calculations and trips;
• calculation records and related technical information generated when calculations are performed.

If you use the Vehicles section, vehicle profiles and related operating information may also be stored in your account.

2.3 Technical and usage information

The service and its infrastructure may process technical information such as:

• IP address;
• browser and device information;
• operating system information;
• referring page or source;
• approximate geographic information;
• information about how the website and calculator are used;
• technical and security information generated by our hosting, authentication, analytics and application infrastructure.

Some analytics are collected without using advertising cookies.

2.4 Payment information

Payment processing depends on the market and payment flow available to you.

For the current Ukrainian payment flow, payments are processed through our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full bank-card number through the Logist Calculator application.

Where recurring payments are enabled, the application may retain a payment-provider token or identifier required to manage or renew the subscription. We do not store your full card details.

For the international (EU/UK) payment flow, payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as Merchant of Record and an independent controller for the payment data it collects. Paddle’s own privacy policy, available at paddle.com/legal, applies to that processing. We receive from Paddle only the information needed to manage your purchase, such as your email, country, plan and transaction status — not your full card details.

2.5 Information sent to AI services

Some Logist Calculator features may use third-party AI processing to extract or analyse information from documents or images that you choose to submit.

Where this occurs, relevant text or images may be sent to a third-party AI processing provider for the requested processing.

We do not use this feature to sell your personal information.

You should avoid submitting information that is not necessary for the requested processing.

2.6 Communications and Telegram

If you voluntarily connect or use our Telegram functionality, we may process information necessary to provide that functionality, such as your Telegram user identifier and username.

For service administration and support, certain account information, including email addresses or names, may also be communicated to our administrative Telegram channel. Such administrative communications may occur as part of operating and supporting the service and do not require you to connect your own Telegram account.

If you leave your phone number in our “For fleets” request form, we use it only to contact you about a fleet solution.

We use personal data to:

• create and maintain your account;
• provide the calculator and related services;
• calculate routes, costs and profitability;
• save and display your calculations, trips and vehicles;
• authenticate users and protect accounts;
• process subscriptions and payments;
• provide customer support;
• communicate important information about your account or service;
• operate, maintain and improve the website;
• detect, investigate and prevent security problems, fraud or misuse;
• understand how the service is used and improve its functionality;
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases where appropriate:

Performance of a contract

We process information necessary to provide the Logist Calculator service, operate your account, save your calculations and provide features you request.

Legitimate interests

We may process technical, security and service-usage information where necessary for legitimate interests such as:

• maintaining and securing the service;
• preventing abuse and fraud;
• diagnosing technical problems;
• improving the service;
• understanding general product usage.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider and balance those interests against your rights and freedoms.

Consent

Where processing requires consent, we rely on your consent.

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was already carried out before withdrawal.

Legal obligations

We may process information where necessary to comply with legal obligations applicable to us.

Logist Calculator currently uses a privacy-friendly analytics provider and internal first-party usage tracking to understand how the service is used and to improve the product.

The current implementation does not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.

Our analytics provider operates without the traditional advertising-style analytics cookie. Some usage information may therefore be processed without placing an analytics cookie in your browser.

The website may also use session-based browser storage and first-party tracking for certain application functionality.

We do not use advertising networks or cross-site behavioural advertising.

Microsoft Clarity

On the Ukrainian-language pages we use Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) to see how visitors use the website — clicks, scrolling and page navigation — so that we can improve it. Password and email fields are masked from recording. For visitors from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (and where the country cannot be determined), Clarity is loaded only after you press “Accept” in the cookie notice; if you press “Decline”, it is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page.

Logist Calculator uses cookies and browser storage where necessary to operate the website, remember preferences and provide specific functionality.

The current production implementation includes:

lc_lang

A first-party cookie used to remember the user’s selected language.

It may remain available for approximately one year.

admin_session

A first-party cookie used to authenticate authorised administrative access. It is not a general user authentication cookie and is used only for the administrative interface.

The current expiry is approximately 24 hours.

Browser Local Storage

The normal user sign-in flow uses browser Local Storage rather than a traditional authentication cookie.

Local Storage may contain authentication/session information required for the application to recognise an authenticated user.

It may also contain application-specific information such as:

• selected language;
• calculator draft or temporary calculator state;
• application notice flags;
• Pricing Assistant state;
• tab or interface state.

Some Local Storage keys may contain an internal user identifier as part of their key name.

Session Storage

Some temporary information used during a session may be stored in the browser’s Session Storage.

lc_consent

A first-party cookie that remembers your answer to the cookie notice (accepted or declined), so that the notice is not shown again. It is strictly necessary for that purpose and may remain available for approximately six months.

Paddle checkout

When you open a checkout or manage a subscription, Paddle.js is loaded from Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle may then set its own cookies and similar storage to process the payment securely, prevent fraud and manage the subscription. These are controlled by Paddle under its own privacy and cookie notices. Details are in our Cookies Policy.

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site behavioural tracking.

Depending on the features you use, personal or technical information may be processed by third-party service providers that help us operate Logist Calculator.

These may include:

When you enter an address or route location, relevant address or route information may be sent to mapping, routing or geocoding providers needed to provide the requested functionality.

Some of these services may receive requests directly from your browser. In those cases, the provider may also receive technical information such as your IP address as part of the normal operation of an internet request.

We do not authorise third-party providers to use your information for purposes unrelated to the services they provide to us, except where required by law or otherwise disclosed.

Some service providers used by Logist Calculator may process personal data outside Ukraine or the European Economic Area, including providers located in the United States.

Where the GDPR applies and personal data is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism where required, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or another legally recognised safeguard.

The specific transfer arrangements may depend on the provider and service involved.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Account and saved-calculation information is generally retained while your account remains active.

After account closure, some account, calculation, transaction, communication and operational records may continue to be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or other legitimate operational purposes.

We do not currently represent that all associated data is automatically deleted or anonymised after a fixed period following account closure.

Retention periods may therefore vary depending on the type of information, the service involved and applicable legal or operational requirements.

Where information is no longer required, we delete, anonymise or otherwise securely dispose of it where technically and operationally possible and subject to applicable legal requirements.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

The service uses encrypted HTTPS connections.

Authentication credentials are handled through the authentication infrastructure used by the application rather than being stored as plain-text passwords by Logist Calculator.

However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Where the GDPR or other applicable data-protection law applies, you may have rights including:

• Access — to request a copy of personal data we hold about you;
• Rectification — to request correction of inaccurate information;
• Erasure — to request deletion where the applicable legal requirements are met;
• Restriction — to request restriction of processing in circumstances provided by law;
• Data portability — where the applicable legal requirements are met;
• Objection — to object to processing based on legitimate interests in circumstances provided by law;
• Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on consent.

These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions.

Right to lodge a complaint. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU/EEA country where you live, work, or where the alleged infringement took place.

Logist Calculator is intended primarily for business and professional users.

The service is not directed at children under 16.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of providing the service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to:

• the service;
• our data-processing practices;
• third-party providers;
• payment infrastructure;
• applicable legal requirements.

When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

This Privacy Policy is written and maintained in English. The English-language version is the sole authoritative version of this Privacy Policy. Where this Privacy Policy is made available, in whole or in part, in any other language, that version is provided for convenience only and does not supersede the English version in the event of any conflict or inconsistency.

This Privacy Policy, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with it, is governed by the laws of Ukraine, and the courts of Ukraine will have jurisdiction over any such dispute.

Where you are an individual consumer resident in the European Union using the service outside your trade, business, craft or profession, this choice of governing law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence.
